Five of the Tiger Varsity Football Players have been recognized by division one colleges for their tremendous work off and on the field.

Freshman Dajavon White, sophomores Richie Leonard and Caziah Holmes, and juniors Willie Gaines and Rashean Lynn have all received offers to play for the Rutgers Scarlett Knights.

Along with the Rutgers offer Willie, Caziah and Richie have all received offers to play for the Kentucky Wildcats.

Last season was Willie’s first season as a Tiger and he made a name for himself. Willie rushed for 1357 yards and 15 touchdowns.

Caziah runs track and was the Cape Coast Conference Champion in both the 100 meters and 200 meters and he plays multiple positions on the football field. Running track helps condition him for the football season.

Richie Leonard is a three sport athlete. Along with football he plays baseball and basketball.

It took a lot of hard work and dedication for these players to receive division one offers. This is just the beginning for them. As they continue to improve on and off the field more offers will come their way.

The opportunity for the rest of the players to receive offers will begin April 23rd when the Tigers begin to practice and work out.
